NAACCR Summer Forum

We are pleased to announce the introduction of the NAACCR Summer Forum June 15-17, 2021. We will not be seeing you in Palm Springs as planned due to continuing COVID-19 concerns.  However, our fully remote experience will offer our traditional high level educational content and member sponsored research in a new venue with plenty of opportunity to network with our colleagues and collaborators. We can’t wait until the NAACCR community can all be together in-person but until then, we are working harder than ever to bring you an awesome scientific FORUM. We plan on bringing everyone together in an on-line platform to make 2021 a brand new year to learn, share best practices, and collaborate in a one-of-a-kind event!

What's the difference?

  • The 2021 NAACCR FORUM will take place: June 15 through June 17, 2021 (Tuesday – Thursday)

  • Educational sessions will run 1.5 hours – 2.0 hours in length with breaks in between.

  • We will have a special session dedicated to interactive poster presentations.

  • Recordings of sessions will be available for 90 days which they can access on-demand as their schedule permits.

  • Reduced cost compared to our Annual Conference.

What’s the same?

We're bringing the best parts of NAACCR to the FORUM stage.

  • Outstanding Plenary Sessions

  • Short talks on NAACCR member-submitted content (Breakouts)

  • Scientific Posters

  • Networking Opportunities

  • CEUs

  • Awards, recognition, and certification

We look forward to seeing everyone together in Boise, Idaho, June 2022 at our Annual Conference. In the meantime, we will utilize innovative methods to deliver NAACCR’s high-quality content of an in-person conference in this virtual setting. We hope you will join us for the NAACCR FORUM and take time to learn, renew, re-focus, and set our sight on an optimistic future for us all in 2021!

NAACCR Funding Partners

For a second year, NAACCR is collaborating with the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) to publish a special edition of the Journal of Registry Management to be published December 2021.

  • All accepted abstracts to our Summer Forum are eligible to submit a manuscript version to be considered for publication.

  • All manuscripts will undergo formal peer review.

  • To be considered for publication, completed manuscripts must be received by August 15, 2021.

  • Summer Forum Posters winners will automatically have the opportunity to publish their poster in this special edition.

A highlight of last year’s NAACCR Special Edition is that one of our papers won the 2020 JRM Best Paper  “Treatment Patterns and Survival in Older Adults with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma: A Population-Based Study.” Congratulation to the primary author, Fran Maguire of US Davis, and her co-authors Qian Li, Cyllene Morris, Arti Parikh-Patel, Aaron Rosenberg, and Theresa Keegan!
